INTERNSHIPS

The ATTIC Theatre & Film Center, one of L.A.'s premier producing organizations now entering its 20th award winning season, is currently looking for interns for the 2006 season.
 
The Center serves as home to the ATTIC Theatre Ensemble, the in-house acting company which produces 4 shows per year, The ONE ACT MARATHON, a national playwrighting contest now in its 15th season, and the ATTIC Film Project, our in-house film production and screening group.
 
Interns will work closely with ATTIC staff and be able to perform and gain experience in the following areas of theatre management and development:

• Script evaluation and development
• Fundraising
• Marketing
• Grant writing (computer skills necessary)
• Special events production.
• Stage Management
• House management
• Box office and customer service
• Volunteer coordination
• And in some special occasions – Asst. Directing and Asst. Producing.

In exchange, interns can receive college credit from any accredited program. Also interns will be given opportunities to perform and work in the ATTIC One Act Marathon, have access to the ATTIC’s professional and artistic developmental programs, as well as a professional consultation, industry contacts and casting opportunities.
